Pilipa’a girls win one, lose one

Pilipa’a started off the day against a talented Amarillo Elite team from the Sun Country Region in Texas. The girls battled hard in the first game, but lost 25-23. The second proved more challenging as they lost 25-12.

In the second match of the day, the girls came out strong with a 25-22 win in game one over Pateros Kids 12-Gold. They served tough, played better defense and found their stride on offense as they cruised to a 25-11 victory in the second game.

They play Circle City 12 Purple of the Hoosier Region at 8am tomorrow morning followed by a 10am match with OP-2 12-1 of Oklahoma.

    RE-PRE-SENT! The losses may be tough to swallow, but it’s from the losses that we learn. We’re so proud of all of you and very happy for all of you. Again, Coach Chris: A big mahalo and hug for keeping us updated daily.

    Great picture of everyone! Keep going, keep smiling and doing you best in your games. Being in the JO is such a great adventure! All of us here are so proud of your performance. You go girls!!!

    To the players, heads high…you’re doing a great job!! To coach Chris, Dee and Caz, keep doing what you’re doing!!!! You are giving the girls an experience they will never forget. We’re behind you 100%. You’ve all worked hard for this…have fun!
