Pilipa’a well represented at State Tournament

Pilipa’a volleyball is well represented at the Hawaii High School Athletic Association Boys Volleyball State Tournament with players on the Waiakea Warriors, Pahoa Daggers and Kamehameha-Hawaii Warriors.

Waiakea began play on Wednesday with an opening round 25-16, 25-18, 25-15 over the OIA #2 Kalani Falcons.   Waiakea was led by Clayton Morante, Jr. with 18 kills. Waiakea advances to play the MIL Champion Baldwin Bears at 5pm today at McKinley High School.

Kamehameha Schools – Hawaii, the DI Tournament’s 3rd seed begins play today with a 5pm match against the Iolani Red Raiders at Kaimuki High School.  Pahoa High School will play their first match of the Division II tournament at 5pm at Kalani High School.  They will face Waimea HS from Kauai.  Updates will be posted as available here on Pilipaa.com  Follow the Pilipa’a twitter feed on the right side of this page or at www.twitter.com/pilipaa for updates throughout the day.
